Who We Are
NestEgg Builders Corp. is an “Olde Style Agency”. We have always believed in being more than an annuity firm. Since 1999, NestEgg Builders has offered complete back-office services to their producers with our “BOSS” (see Q&A Section below).
NestEgg Builders is also the home of the Earl E. Bird series of books and cartoons. Bringing humor and color to financial planning, the Earl E. Bird series allows producers to tell investment stories with humor. Clients find the books and cartoons a fun way to learn about financial planning.
Q&A
What is an “Olde Style Agency?” NestEgg Builders does things for their agents not seen in at least a generation.
Can you tell us about some of these services? We are involved in the annuity underwriting/transfer process from beginning to end. This of course includes follow-ups and policy reviews.
Don’t all annuity firms offer the same services? Let’s just say, very few agencies perform the same services as NestEgg Builders. Most annuity firms don’t get involved with your transfers and follow-ups.
What is “BOSS?” It stands for “Back-office super staff.” If you ask all our insurers, they will tell you NestEgg Builders is by far the most responsive and pro-active back-office in the annuity business.
Why should I do business with NestEgg? Most agents do not have much of a support staff. NestEgg Builders can provide you with the support and experience to make your annuity business go as smoothly as possible.
Does NestEgg help with NY Reg. 60 business? Absolutely. We know many agents lack full-time assistants with Reg. 60 knowledge. Every day is critical when doing a transfer or 1035 exchange. Many locked-in rates have been lost from common errors or not following up properly. Stick with the professionals at NestEgg Builders.
Does NestEgg follow-up with the surrendering insurer? Of course. The job has gotten very difficult and ugly but NestEgg will assist you every way we can.
Why do you want policies mailed to NestEgg? We review every policy for accuracy. Policies may be issued with the incorrect interest rate or a misspelling that could infuriate your client if not detected. It’s an extra step for us but it’s worth it!
Doesn’t the insurance company do the status? Nowadays, we are grateful when insurers simply return our calls. Since Covid, service in America is non-existent. The whole process is broken but we will try hard not for you to deal with these industry problems.
